Bonneyville Mill Park in Indiana is a hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills of Elkhart County. Located just east of Bristol, the park is a popular destination for nature lovers and history buffs alike.

There are over 7 miles of hiking trails among the 222 acre park.

The trail is a popular spot for walkers, runners, and bikers, and it offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature and wildlife. The trail is perfect for a leisurely ride, or a more strenuous workout.

The park is named after the historic Bonneyville Mill, which was built in 1837. The mill was used to grind wheat and corn into flour and meal, and it was a vital part of the local economy for nearly 100 years.

Bonneyville Mill was named after Edward Bonney who came to Bristol in 1833. Today, Bonneyville Mill is still operational and uses the river to power grinding stones to turn wheat grain into flour.

In addition to its natural beauty, Bonneyville Mill Park has a rich history. The park is home to several other historic buildings, including a one-room schoolhouse and a blacksmith shop. These buildings have been restored and are open for tours, giving visitors a glimpse into the past.

The park also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year.
